Symptoms
- Necrotic lesions develop on white feeder roots
- Feeder roots rot and are lost
- Damage to roots leads to poor growth, foliar yellowing and sometimes intervienal chlorosis of leaves
- Vines wilt during summer season
- Pepper vines exhibit slow decline
Management
- Use nematode free rooted cuttings
- Apply neem cake @1 kg / vine
- Application of bacterial suspension of Bacillus macerans (10 gram/ vine/ litre of water in basins) prior to planting of the vines.
