- Defoliation in early stages
- Larva’s head alone thrust inside the pods and the rest of the body hanging out
- Pods with round holes
Management
- Destroy infected fruits along with the borer
- Apply neem cake @250 kilo/ hectare at the time of flowering
- Apply insecticide only after harvesting matured pods
