Symptoms
       
        
- Adults and nymphs are seen in colony on the lower surface of leaves
- The coclony is found under white webs
- They feed on lower surface of leaves
- Symptoms start as yellowish speckles on the lamina
- These speckles later coalesce, become bronze coloured and the leaves wither away
 
             
       
        
        Management
       
        
- Cut and destroy heavily infested and dried leaves by burning
- Provide shade and irrigation for the seedlings during summer months
