Symptoms
- Rapid and complete wilting of normal grown up plants
- Lower leaves may drop before wilting
- Yellow brown discolouration of tissues
Management
- Follow crop rotation
- Application of stable bleaching powder (12 kg / ha) mixed with fertilizers in furrows while planting
- Seedling treatment with streptocycline (0.5 gram / litre) of water for 30 minutes
